Will the Xbox 360 play old Xbox games?

The Xbox 360 will have some limited support for playing old, first generation Xbox games.

Most games will need you to have the Xbox 360 harddrive, and to update your console via Xbox Live or an update CD available from Microsoft.

Not all old games are playable, and Microsoft will maintain a list of backwards compatible games. Check this list before you try a game!
