Can I use my Live account on a friends Xbox, or vice versa?

Yes, you can get a memory card and put the Live account details on that. The Xbox will search the memory card when looking for an account, so you don’t need to set anything special up. This is also allows people with 2 machines to use the same Live account, for example, someone with a UK and import machine.
