Can you have an Xbox live account on Xbox and Xbox 360 at the same time for one price?

Yes, you can use your gamertag on the original Xbox, and the Xbox 360 for online play. However, you cannot play both at the exact same time.

It is believed that you need to activate your Xbox Live account first on the original Xbox to be able to use both. If you activate your Live account first on your Xbox 360, it may not work on the Xbox. [This is unconfirmed, but worth pointing out in case it's true]
