If my Xbox is chipped can i still use Xbox Live?

You should not connect to Xbox Live with a chipped Xbox otherwise you run the risk of your Xbox being blacklisted, and you won't be allowed on Xbox Live again with your gamertag or machine.

To get around this, you can use a mod chip with a switch to disable the mod when you want to play online.
