What is a chipped Xbox?
A chipped console refers to a modified console, usually with a modchip fitted. A modchip is a device that circumvents copy protection and region coding on games. This allows copies of games, and import games, to be played on the console.
Chipped Xboxes cannot be used on Microsoft's Live service.
