Do I need a PC for Xbox Live?

in5ane.com > FAQs > Xbox Live FAQ > Internet / Networking

No, you can plug your cable/ADSL straight into the back of your console, providing it is a proper ethernet cable, and not a USB modem cable. You may have to ring your ISP to tell them your Xbox MAC address if you do not have a PC, as this can usually be done by customers themselves via a webpage.
