How much is Xbox Live going to cost me?

If you just want to try out the service, you can get a free 2-month trial with most new releases of Xbox Live games.

To buy a years subscription, you can buy a starter kit, which comes with Live demos and the Xbox Live headset. This retails at £39.99, €59.99, or $49.99.

You can buy special versions of the starter kit along with some Xbox Live games, which cost €89.99, £59.99, or $69.99.

An alternative to the annual subscription is paying monthly. The costs for this are €6.99, £4.99 or $5.99.

These costs may change, but are correct at the time this answer was added.
