What makes Xbox Live different?
Xbox Live provides gamers with online tags that they use in every game. No one can take that name in another game, and there is no need to register that name for every game. This means you start to recognise players from one game to the next, and it helps build on the community spirit of the whole thing. This also means you can maintain a friends list, and see what each friend is playing, and invite them to your game, or join them in theirs. Finally, constant clear voice communication is guaranteed in every Live game. These are the 3 main selling points of online gaming via Live, and the justifications for the subscription charge.
